Over Christmas Break I got a Nikon D90 to replace my D70s that had around 60000 exposures on it. I don't know if I am more impressed with the extra resolution I now have at my disposal or the low light noise performance. Either way I should be updating my account more often now as I play around with the camera and all of the settings. Perhaps even a little video, haven't even tapped into that realm in the two weeks I have owned it. Happy New Year to everyone!

This time of year we are near our families and I don't think there is a better place to be, the unconditional love that they provide is always welcome. Thanksgiving and Christmas are my favorite holidays because they bring the family together in a way that can only be topped by a Wedding. I think that one of the best presents for people to give is a creation of their own, I started a little tradition of my own last year by giving everyone in my family prints of my work, I think it was very successful last year so I purchased 11x14s for every member of my family again this year, hopefully it will be well received yet again!
